  • Discuss the audience of educators you defined and how the importance of blogs and blog content to this group.
The audience can't be limited to classroom or even education, but it has become mainstream to our daily objectives wherever collaboration is needed. According to Common Sense Education,(2015), "There is no limit to what educators can do when they have the right resources. Providing any platform with research based tool can help anyone harness the power of blogging as a learning technology tool for life."
If we provide our student with the tools where they can be individuals to share their thoughts and look for dialect on a topic they want to learn more about, then we should do our best to expand on this new form of social learning, Blogging.

To give a more specific example of blogging to an audience of students, I know that one of our Nationally recognized teachers at our own school using blogging every day as an engagement tool. The beauty of this is her class is very diversified, and this give the students the opportunity to create their own "Rigor" and pace themselves with their blog entries at their own learning level. This often fills the void for: "What do I do when they are done?" question. A student can at any time elaborate and engage with their blog when all other classroom work is achieved. This as well allows us to reach  that higher level of learning for those who need it, and they do not need to remain stagnant in the confines of what is being taught in the classroom. Blogging offers an international audience for learning.
